Our Designer
Our founder, Yuzu, is a Canadian designer with deep appreciation for East Asian fashion. After traveling extensively throughout Asia, a visit to Tokyo sparked her vision. She was inspired by the city’s effortless combination of simplicity and modern edge—a balance rarely seen in Western markets. That’s when the idea for Asian-inspired fashion backpacks took root. Determined to bring this aesthetic to a wider audience, Yuzu created Shin Sedai to fuse Asian influences with European styling.
